Calibration over hype
GetReadyForMCAT exists because MCAT prep is drowning in promises. We build the opposite: an instrument that tells you where you actually stand, practice that explains itself, and honest pricing around both.
What the platform is
A practice bank for all four sections with an AI tutor, Atlas, inside every question. Atlas shows its working step by step, cites the AAMC foundational concept and content category behind the question, and names the trap the test-maker built into the tempting wrong answer. Full-length exams project a score on the real 472 to 528 scale, a planner turns your test date and weekly hours into a schedule that survives a missed day, and study rooms and weekly leagues keep the grind social.
Around the platform we publish free tools and guides, from the score calculator to the exam guide, built on published AAMC data and clearly labeled where they estimate. They are free because a pre-med deciding how to prep deserves real information before any paywall.
What we refuse to do
These are standing rules of the platform, enforced in our build checks, not marketing lines. They hold on every page, every ad, every screenshot.
No made-up user counts, no fabricated ratings, no fake urgency. When you see a live number on this site, it is real, and until real ones exist you will not see one at all.
We never publish student names, photos or scores as advertising, and we never claim credit for a person's result. Product screenshots use sample data and say so on a chip.
Nothing here promises you a number. The MCAT reports a percentile, never a rank, and no course can promise where you will land on it. We sell the work, not the outcome.
Every explanation cites the exact AAMC foundational concept it rests on, and every estimate on our free tools says it is an estimate and shows where the data comes from.
The Saint Martinus University partnership
GetReadyForMCAT is built with Saint Martinus University, an MD-granting partner program. The relationship is simple and stated up front: if you are aiming for medical school, SMU is one honest pathway, strong projected scores can open its scholarship review, and nothing on this platform requires you to apply there or hides other options from you. Prep here stands on its own; the pathway is an offer, never a catch.
Our tutors teach under their own names with their own credentials, their own MCAT scores among them. That is the one kind of score you will see us advertise: a teacher's, never a student's.
GetReadyForMCAT is not affiliated with or endorsed by the AAMC. MCAT is a registered trademark of the Association of American Medical Colleges.
