The agreement

These terms are an agreement between you and GetReadyForMCAT, the operator of getreadyformcat.com. By using the site you accept them. If you do not accept them, do not use the site. When student accounts and purchases open, these terms grow to cover them, with a new effective date and clear notice.

What this site is

getreadyformcat.com publishes MCAT study information, free study tools, and previews of a practice platform. It exists to help you prepare for an exam. It is not medical advice, admissions advice, legal advice, or a promise about any outcome.

Study decisions stay yours. Where our content and a school's or the AAMC's official guidance could ever differ, the official source wins, and our pages link to it rather than replace it.

Estimates are estimates

The free tools compute estimates from published reference data and clearly labeled assumptions. The score calculator is not the AAMC's conversion, the percentile chart carries the year of the ranks it cites, and the study planner is a time budget, not a promise.

No content on this site guarantees a score, a percentile, or an admission decision, and nothing here should be read as doing so.

The MCAT trademark

MCAT is a registered trademark of the Association of American Medical Colleges (AAMC). GetReadyForMCAT is not affiliated with or endorsed by the AAMC. References to the MCAT on this site describe the exam we help you prepare for, nothing more.

Accounts and purchases

Accounts, subscriptions and purchases are not open yet. When they open, their terms, prices in US dollars, billing, cancellation and refund rules, will be published here before anyone is charged. There is no fine print waiting behind this section.

Acceptable use

While using the site, you agree not to:

• Scrape, harvest or republish the site's content at scale, or use it to train a competing product.
• Probe, overload or interfere with the site's security or availability.
• Misrepresent your identity or your relationship to us.
• Use the site to violate the AAMC's examinee agreement or any exam security rule.

Our content

The site's content, text, design, tools and code, belongs to us or our licensors. You may use it for your own study and share links to it freely. Reproducing it commercially requires our written permission.

Third-party sites

Links to aamc.org, martinus.edu and other third-party sites lead to places we do not control. Their content and their terms are theirs; a link from us is a pointer, not an endorsement of everything behind it.

Liability, plainly

The site is provided as is. We work to keep it accurate and available, and we do not promise it is free of errors or interruptions. To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the site. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limits, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

Changes

When these terms change, the new version appears here with a new effective date. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the new version.
