Privacy policy
What this site collects today, what changes when accounts open, and the rights you hold, in plain English.
Effective July 4, 2026
What this policy covers
This policy covers getreadyformcat.com, the website. It says what information the site touches today, what will change when student accounts open, and what rights you have, including rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA).
We wrote it in plain English on purpose. If anything here is unclear, email us and a person will explain it.
What we collect today
Today this site is informational, and it is built to touch as little of your data as possible:
- The free tools (the score calculator, percentile chart and study planner) run entirely in your browser. What you type into them is not sent to us, stored by us, or shared with anyone.
- The email boxes on this site do not yet transmit or store what you enter. Accounts and email capture open with the platform launch, and this policy will be updated, with a new effective date, before that happens.
- Like nearly every website, our hosting infrastructure keeps standard server logs (such as IP address, request path and time) for security and reliability. We use them to run the site, not to profile you.
Cookies and analytics
The site does not run advertising trackers and does not sell or share your personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
If we switch on product analytics or error monitoring to keep the site working well, those tools are configured for that purpose, not for building advertising profiles, and this page will say what is in use.
When accounts open
When the study platform launches, creating an account will mean giving us an email address, and studying will create activity data such as practice answers, scores on practice material, and study plans. That data will exist to run your prep and will be covered by an updated version of this policy before launch.
Two commitments hold now and will hold then: we will not sell your personal information, and we will never publish your name, your photo or your scores as advertising.
Your California privacy rights (CCPA and CPRA)
If you are a California resident, you have the right to:
- Know what personal information we collect, use and disclose about you.
- Request a copy of that information.
- Ask us to delete personal information we hold about you.
- Ask us to correct inaccurate personal information.
- Opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined in the CPRA, so there is nothing to opt out of, and that is by design.
- Not be treated worse for exercising any of these rights.
How to exercise your rights
Email us at the address at the bottom of this page. Tell us what you are asking for; we will confirm your request, verify it is really you, and respond within the time the law allows. You will not need an account or a form.
Children
This site is for people preparing for a graduate-level admissions exam. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has given us information, email us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
When this policy changes, the new version appears on this page with a new effective date at the top. Material changes, like accounts opening, come with a clear notice on the site.
